Shot with the trusty Pentax K1000, 400ASA film, scaned on a Polariod SS120 into PS7.. was kinda hard to get this shot, i had to flick the water fountain with one hand while the other held the camera and tripped the shutter release, this was the only shot that came out after 36 exposures.. =D enjoy!

Great shot. There's a bunch of things I especially like about it. First of all, this is a moment in time indeed. It took you 36 tries to capture that unique moment and you achieved that. Second, you did that with the old, trusty Pentax K-1000, a lovely camera I owned myself before I switched to my new Nikon D70. And third, the grain and character you only get from traditional Black and White film.

It's a fav.

i love these types of shot, water is so infinitely variable and i never tire of seeing the shapes it can make.
and i admire your persistence and commitment to getting the shot, i'm glad you at least got one with all the effort, although a tripod and a cable release might have made things a bit easier.
anyways i love the result, it turned out very nice.
 go K-1000

I really like shots like these, normally youd miss the lovely shapes water makes in the air.. which is why shots like these are really appealing, atleast to me anyways :p

That is just amazing - I can not believe you only have six comments on this. The timing it took to capture it is pretty incredible to think about.

Very nice effect.
The water staying still in the air is just amazing. A timeless moment.
