Hey, I noticed you said you shot in RAW and right now I always shoot on Large Fine with Jpeg... how do you find RAW? I do a lot of aviation shooting and most guys shoot in RAW but haven't figured out the post processing with it - is it difficult? I know the files are huge but not really an issue.

You are loved. All is well.
As for the question about RAW, i normally use it for really tricky lighting instances.. like this one, there were light sources from both behind and above so I wanted to maintain edge quality. But I only shoot a few frames of RAW, no more than 10, post-processing is tedious, especially if you are using photoshop, the files are huge (but manageable). You said you shoot aviation, unless you have like a 5GB CF card i dont really suggest shooting RAW especially if you're in continuous shooting mode, JPEG fine is all you really need.. for example when I shoot during Kendo tournaments i get the fastest frame rate (3fps) when im in JPEG anyway so it saves me time. But when i want to shoot like a flower or a portrait of Jesus or something i always set it to RAW then forget about white balance, etc, till post-processing. I hope all this helps.. feel free to ask anything!

Thank you for such feedback. Right, so I suppose it really only is worth while for those more special shots that might require some major adjustments to the lighting and everything. Yeah, I can imagine it'd be much better for the Kendo tournys definitely. Well thanks very much for your response and I might note you about a couple things re: RAW in the future. Thanks again.
